The first meeting of the semester will be Monday, January 22nd in the Dean’s Conference Room at 6pm.
Classy is EWB’s version of GoFundMe that assists EWB chapters in fundraising for their programs. Both here (Link) and in the sidebar labeled Jancko Marca Program you can go to our page and help us fund our program and help bring water to the village of Jancko Marca, Bolivia.
On December 2nd we will be hosting a Pancake Social at the Newman Center (715 S Washington St). The event will be held from 10:00am-1:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online at this link (Link). Tickets will also be sold closer to the event by members of the local SIUC-EWB at tables both in the engineering breezeway as well as other places on campus.
This semester Engineers Without Borders will be meeting in Engineering building room E0101 which is the Dean’s Conference Room. The regular meeting time is scheduled for Mondays from 5:45-6:45 pm every Monday. If any changes are made to the meeting time or the room being used is changed an email will be sent out in advance. We will be volunteering at a number of places this semester, with the first being Touch of Nature on the 2nd of October. There will be more opportunities in the future so stay posted by following our meetings. (Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to receive meeting minutes)
We will be hosting a chili dinner on November 5th. We will be ironing out details and advertising on campus so keep an eye out for us and we hope to see you there!
